Description
This is the first page of my second portfolio I sent to Archie Comics! Try and try again!
I don't know if I should be posting this so soon after sending it, heh. With the comic's adaption of Sonic Unleashed and my love for the game, I thought it would be neat to base something on it. These pages are based on an early cutscene -- one of my favorites -- that takes place in Apotos. I believe this scene was what ultimately led me to love this game. It's nostalgic for me.
This time around I drew these on comic boards. It definitely made a difference for me in comparison to my first portfolio. I also utilized more coloring knowledge that I've learned over the last several months. I was rather pleased with this page! It's my favorite.
Constructive criticism and tips are welcome! I'm primarily aiming for colorist work, but I would also appreciate hearing about the inking, how the panels read, whether characters are on model, ect. What might I need to improve on and how? Please let me know!

Man, this looks really good! I love the feel of this panel, makes me wish the Sonic Unleashed game had an actual comic! (I know the werehog is in the comics now but I mean closely following the game's story line and setting like what you did here.

Wow, once again you amaze me with your fabulous drawing skills.
And I remeber when I played this, and you're right, Apotos had some of the most memorables cutscenes of the whole game, specially this one, so funny and yet so nostalgic. :')
Just one thing, if there's something that bothered me since I saw this is that Chip's hands looks a little too big in the first too panels, specially the second, but I don't know, maybe is just me, but I wanted to point that out. >.>
Anyway, even if it's a shame that Archie Comics didn't accept you just yet, I really hope you could make it this time. I'm rooting for you! *crossfingers*
