Announcing the new arrival into our family since the passing of my Merlin.... Meet baby Abrams, our new bulldog puppy, born February 29, and who'll be coming home in a little better than two weeks. Even my hubby thinks he's cute!

I'm so sorry you lost Merlin though.How long ago did you
say he passed?The last one I lost broke my heart into
thousands of pieces.He got sick and there was no way
to save him.He was in soooo much pain.
have him put down.I cried like a baby too.I'm just glad
I got the two I have now,as they both bring me sooo much
joy and love.

It's tough when other things in life keep us all from talking
like we all wish we could sometimes.My greatest time consumer is
Max and my job right now.You have a great and truly wonderful
long weekend too okay?Keep in touch when you can as well.I will

when he gets to be an adult and snorts a lot.LOL.Don't worry

lol, yup all true. I'm quite looking forward to having Abrams in the house. I lost Merlin in October and it's been far too quiet without him. Merlin, at least, wasn't sick. His heart gave out and it was over in less than a minute. Fortunately, I was home, so I was with him in the end, but if it had been protracted through illness... Well, I wouldn't have handled that very well. This way he went out on his own terms.
Anyway, I'm off to the barn! Stalls to clean! Try not to work too much this weekend

Well I will say I'm really glad it was quick and not drawn
out like with an illness or major injury would do.Plus he had
you there with him so I know he knew he was loved,right to the
end.
Not a dog or cat.But he knew you were there I'm very sure and knew
how much he was loved.Which made all the difference.
Horses or something else?My GF has 3 horses but they're being bordered
right now due to her physical problems.We hope to one day get them into
a barn on some property nearby to me,complete with a house to live in.
But that's a long way down the road.We have to get her well first before
that can happen.
No need to work this weekend sweetie.I'm off.I ended up with Friday till Sunday
off for Easter weekend.Paid too.

A dozen horses?That's a lot to deal with on your own.I assume
you do get help with them?I should hope so.That's too much to ask
of one person.But if you love it and enjoy it,I guess the good
outweighs the bad in it all.I do hope you got some steel toe
muck boots though.LOL.
Keep me posted on him as time goes on.I'd love to know how he's doing with
his new family and mommy.
I'm using it to rest and relax for the most part.I did get my puppy bathed
today.He wasn't fond of it but he did well for the most part.I think he just
didn't know what to make of it.LOL.New experience here at home.

oh yeah, we have help. During the week when it's not that busy with riding students (because of school), it's just Mum and I, but then on the weekends when it's fairly hectic we have rotating help. It's all good. I've been doing it my whole life

Well I was fine with all the relaxing till this morning,Monday morning.
I got up and was extremely dizzy.The room was spinning.I calmed it down a
bit and went to the bathroom and sat down.Then I got sooooo sick.Took me
about 2 hours or so before I could lay back down.I had to call in and stay
home from work.My sinus's haven't attacked me like that in years.Which
stunned me to say the least.I'm okay but still a bit woozy and weak from
it.Hopefully I'll be fine for work this Tuesday though.Shame it took getting
sick to get a 4 day weekend.Not my idea of getting a longer weekend.
