aw, that is just great, especially the shadings...blanke was always my favourite character besides dhalsim and its nice to see some decent artwork.
which program did you do the shadings with? i wonder...

the overall effect is just really nice, especially with those shadings. for those effects photoshop sounds really useful, although im alright with painter essentials most of the time.

nice composition here bro, but take a look at his face, left eye kind of warps out, I think that can be fixed by lowering it a bit...
uhh.. and don't use photoshop filters on your lines! cutout is overated! I want to see your lines be beautiful enough not to need ps filters XD

you're doing fine bro, if you don't have a tablet, don't bother with photoshop yet... using the mouse for lines takes too much time..
just draw your lines on paper and scan it in.. when you have it on photoshop, look on the right where it says layers... on the bottom of that window there should be a circle that's half black and half white. When you click that, you can add a layer on top of your artwork (lines) to modify contrast without actually touching the picture.. so you still get to keep the original (cuz it's in a different layer).
Use curves on photoshop dude, very helpful to get the contrast you want. It's on that little circle I described or else go up top on Image > Adjustments > Curves. Fool around with that and it'll make your traditional linework shine!
Color balance adds color to your lines too, it's in the same spot - it's what I used here [link]
