Oh hey it's that jedi I draw sometimes. She had a backstory once, but I forgot what it was. Undoubtedly it involved Dathomir because I love that planet and everyone from it XDPlease, PLEASE - do not take this and use it in a logo or anything (it happened last time). Logos a) should not be stolen and b) should be vector anyway.

I loved the Young Jedi Knights series way back when! Once the New Jedi Order books came out I felt like the new author "un-did" all the work from the Young Jedi. Some lame excuse like...oh...Jacen isn't really a jokester, he was just doing that to HIDE HIS ANGST! I stopped reading those pretty quickly XD

Well my memory sucks so I only remember bits and pieces. Granted I could always read the books again. They are all collecting dust on the bookshelf.
But if I remember correctly Jacen developed a darker side with everything that was going on. And who can blame him. When you have a new race come into your system and start killing everything. Not to mention all the assistance the Jedi had like the force and lightsabers suddenly became all but obsolete.
I guess what i'm getting at is unless it was a major change I would overlook it. Star Wars is what it is and will never die. And no matter what authors come up with its still gonna be cool.

Yeah - I really did not like the direction the New Jedi Order took so I just stick with the earlier stuff that I love, and ignore those books

I think Young Jedi Knights drew me in because I am a twin myself. Granted I don't have a twin sister but I thought it was cool that Han and Leia had twins.
So give me your opinion. If they ever made more movies that take place after the original 3 do you think they would incorporate the Yuuzhan Vong into them?

I would really hope that they do not. Star Wars always really interested me as a sci-fi because it was people vs. people instead of people vs. scary alien race out to exterminate us, like so much other sci-fi. Star Wars aliens were fully integrated into society (well, not the Empire) and could be good or evil or however their character went. I found it much more enjoyable than a typical "omg evil aliens!" war fest story.

You make a valid point. However, the only other people (humans or alien) that could put up a fight against the Jedi are really the Sith. So it would be unique to see the Jedi face another opponent that would pose a threat. I mean let's face it unless they do something different then it will always be Jedi against Sith and Republic against Empire. And that plot will get old at some point.
But who knows, they may never make another movie.

I totally agree with you about the Jedi vs. Sith thing; but I think there must be another option than an alien invasion. There were some interesting enemies in some of the post-movie, pre-new order books though. Usually a combination of left over Empire people and the dark side. Yeah...the dark side totally will get old...but I think there were still ways to write stories about it that were fresh for a little while

The Courtship of Princess Leia is fun; it's the first book that has Dathomir in it!
There was also a story arc called Darksaber or something like that where the remnants of the empire were building just the laser part of the Death Star, which I remember liking.
And then a pretty cool story about some guy - Kyp something? - who had a ship called Suncrusher I believe. Can't remember the titles, but all of those were better than New Jedi Order in my opinion
OH! And, and - the X-wing series? There were like 2 of them and the second one was especially awesome!

Well, I'm a fan of Star Wars, so that makes this picture even more awesome to me. But I LOVE her outfit and the pose. She seems so serious and yet so composed. A Jedi if I ever saw one. Yoda would be proud.

I love original Star Wars Characters. It's funny you should mention the planet thing, I did the same with my character, Rosnan Sanadoa.
He's a mandalorian commando from Concord Dawn, the same home planet of Jango Fett and Jaster Mareel.
I'd love to see him in your style sometime.

I don't mind people using it as an RP reference or what have you as long as credit/a link back is given if you're hosting it somewhere else. Basically my rules are don't use my stuff for profit, don't claim it as your own work, don't try to use it in logos @_@ But a couple people have used my jedi for RP forums and stuff like that which I do not mind, and I appreciate you asking first

Seriously, now. The work that's been put into this is striking. The bodily proportions are just perfect, brilliant shading and lighting and the background and steamy clouds around her add to her somewhat ominous presence and the depth of the overall picture.
And why does leather always look so good on female Jedi Knights?!
