Shoutout to that one person who gave me this idea by commenting, and I quote: "Basically Shadamy in a nutshell -_-" on a commissioned Invertshipping artwork.
My first thought was "??????" but my second thought was "hey, I wonder what Paul and Rosie would look like as Sonic characters!"

I made Rosie a dragon bc honestly what else should I make her, I literally refer to her as dragon princess. I choose her Kalos outfit to repurpose as her SonicAU!outfit bc out of all her outfits I feel it fits best into what I consider the "general aesthetic" of the Sonic universe's fashion (what am I even talking about?)
I made Paul an echidna like Knuckles bc Paul's hair reminded me of Knuckles "hair" so it was very easy for me to translate. I didn't make him red/orange though, I don't know if that is a requirement for echidnas in Sonic.
If no, then ok good. If yes, I don't care this is just for fun. I basically gave Paul his regular outfit except I replaced his shoes with boots, gave him gloves and had him tie his jacket around his hips.
