America was truly and genuinely terrified, he'd made a deal with the Dream Demon a century ago to win the Revolutionary War against Britain...but he never thought he'd end up like this. He was forced to waltz with Bill, unable to stop until he was dipped down super dangerously low. "Let me go! I kept my end of the deal! PLEASE!!!! I'll do ANYTHING!!!" the American shouted, still scared senseless.
Bill just smiled and chuckled, " A Deal's a Deal, Kid. Now I'm the one pulling the strings. You summoned me to gain freedom, but look where I've gotten ya. Now you've gotta pay your end."

America closed his very tired eyes in shame, Bill was right. He was a prisoner of his own doing, and Coraline was now a product of his bad choices...which is why he ignored her to raise White. He couldn't bare the reminder of his mistakes, He'd never accept her...not when SHE was made by his worst enemy from a mistake HE made.
