Here she is, in all her glory! I am SO glad I stuck it out! I wanted to give up on her (and her stupid breaking fin) so many times through the last few weeks. Wow... has it really been that long? 2 weeks or 3? I cannot remember anymore. It's the longest I've spent on a project... and most of that time was spent FIXING it, sigh. And waiting for something to dry. Ah well. She is done, and she is lovely! I have displayed her prominantly in a display case where toddler fingers cannot reach. And my daughter? Thrilled that we have an Ariel!pic one - main view

Just goes to show that if you don't give up on something, it might turn out just as beautiful as this. And this really turned out amazing. I wish I could sculpt. xD

Hahaha I loved reading your description xD I know the feeling when the thing you are making just keeps on breaking so I think you are a hero for finishing it^^ It turned out great too! I can see the poor broken fin, but if you hand't mentioned it I might not have.

Thanks! Yes, the broken fin... someone went into my glass case and moved the fin completely upright (the glue bends I suppose) so it's even more broken now than before... sigh. It's one of the reasons it's behind glass, but I guess some youngsters are just curious, haha. 'look! It bends!'
