Awwwh the relationship between these two ;_; The picture represents very well John's "big brotha"-attitude towards Gin, and this is one of my favorite relationships in the whole series as well. John's face is fierce, I think Gin is well protected... Love it

I've seen GDW, i bought the DVD's as soon as they were available here in Finland, hahah. I started to fangirl over Ginga when i was very little and i'm still embarrassingly enthusiastic about everything that has something to do with the series. I buy everything i can get hah. How about you, have you watched it? c: If so, do you like it better than GNG?

I'm so sorry for answering so late! I disappeared from DeviantArt for a couple of weeks.
BUT YEAH, they killed John, what the heck. I can totally relate to your reaction, watching him dying was super sad! Though it was pretty epic part of the story, the whole scene is something you'll remember for a long time. I'm kinda glad they let John show his fierce personality one more time. And knowing that afterlife exists in the Ginga world helps me to get through all the character deaths, haha. ;v;
I like GNG better too, pretty much for the same reasons as you do! Also the characters from it are more nostalgic to me since they were part of my childhood, haha
