A Mac-inspired icon theme
Also greatly inspired by VannillA Cream Icon Set made by djnjpendragon ([link] ).
Again, all done with inkscape.

Great set, being using it for quite a while (I'll post a screenshot if you wish). The only (slight) setback is that for the computer the only icon is the imac. I would like a laptop and maybe some ppl would like a pc tower. But keeping to the apple-theme I guess a macbook and mac pro would do the trick. Oh, and a mobile phone icon would be nice, too. Hope I don't sound demanding, just pouring some ideas.

Just checked out Tango.
I'd disagree. Just look at the gallery.
Blue half-open folders with gray interior.
Drives are also different. Different face, different edge.
Even the Tango guidelines aren't used in full by this set. Check out the drive faceplate, it doesn't have the required dark outline (instead it's a gradient).

Some of the icons in the set are clearly Tango* derivates. No attribution is given and this set claims to be GPL.

Looks absolutely amazing! Can this be used on windows?
I know its under linux but I'm just not sure if pc's can open tar.bz2's?

It can't be used on windows, well not as .ico, they will need do be converted, as they are in .png format right now. As for tar.bz2, I'm sure winzip, winrar or 7zip will do the trick
