Love it, candid and quite surreal, the saturation of your photos is something I really like, the whole of your gallery has that signiture earth tone, greens and browns and dark colored shadows.

I think what is so fascinating about this photo is that it's peculiar. We never see photos like this, yet seeing birds land on sidewalks is not entirely new to us. It's a photograph of something which we see constantly but have never thought to be interesting enough to capture. And the fact that it's unique makes it all the more special.

you know this is a bizarre shot.
the predominant objects are out of focus...and they're hard to look at. but there's relief...and just by chance, you caught that woman looking away. and what. she's facing the sharper areas. makes me wanna see. there's a crowd and god what are they looking at? and the trash man going about his business. its just effing cool...and apathetic.
kind of reminds me of being in CA with my cousins. san fran. and all the sideshows. and the people wwalking away. i think there's something profound here. (nods sagely) poster silhouettes in the background second level. 2D spectators. some whiff of what it means to be 3D. feel that? just missing the highly vascularized components of us fleshy beings. that's some shyte. awesome.

weve got sun. and light halfarse showers.
been getting a sock tan from being out. and scabby legs from falling on the ground.
small places. am a kid with dead friends (not really...some of em...just fled to canada or went way south) im scared of the south. and its weird because i see the same guy on the bus downtown...says: jesus was an unborn child. and then, my hobo hangs down by the old navy. see em everytime. no stories though. i make em up. how many shattered...
the words have to come out somewhere sometime...all pent up since i stopped using the journal...and online blogging's crap. no interaction.
