I wanted to work a bit more on the existing characters I had for DSoTM, and by the way break the art block I was having. So I decided to make a portrait of Frank, my OC from the series.I got rid of the fedora and tried a different drawing style. I fear he has a bit of a Keanu Reeves expression, that is, none at all
Also, I added his signature mark (I refuse to call them cutie marks, sorry), and as you can see, it does ring a bell to somebody, does it not?
Yes. I decided that he could be Rarity's elder brother (or stepbrother), shunned from the family when he rebelled.

Good starting work. A couple things I would suggest (I'm a hypocrite of course because I'm not that good) would be less hard lines, even the eyes out, and have the light and shadow texture in the face a bit more indicative of where your light source is, rather than it being quite as random. I do like it though! Sorry if the feedback is too harsh :- /

The eyes are too close to each other and work more on basic shape of hade more. Study it, dont be distarcted by all painting stuff right now.

Be a little careful with your anatomy as the eyes are a little out of place and you can try adding a little more detail to your highlighting, otherwise it good, well done

The left eye looks pretty good but the right eye (the eye that appears to be glowing) needs to be a little further to the right and angled up slightly like the eye on the left side and angling it up slightly may mean you'll have to raise the eye a little higher too. I hope that helps
