A 2003 oekaki of mine. One of the ones I salvaged when Drowkaki [link] was ate by a worm last week.

Quest was a game/story I was toying with at the time. Though a good deal of art was produced for it, nothing came of it. I am tempted now to redraw the characters, especialy Griffin. He never did get his picture with his totem animal unlike all the other characters.

The idea behind the story was based off of an old Peirs Anthony book. Though quiet a few folks saw .hack similarities in it. I had not even seen .hack yet when I created these guys. Ah well.

In Quest the main chatacters Griffin, Unicorn, and Dragon.... all the chosen new avatars of thier totem animals... are looking for the fourth avatar, the pegasus, as well as trying to prevent war in thier world. But all the pegususes were wiped out long ago.... thus the imbalance that creates the wars. In a freak accident though, Griffin disapears and discovers the truth about thier world... as well as finds the Pegasus's Avatar.... a girl from our world who was playing a computer game one stormy night and whom discover's sometimes the impossible can happen.

This was a scene of the Dragon and the Unicorn hideing out after they make it into our world, looking for Griffin. The Dragon takes to our techknowledgy much faster then the Unicorn and even manages to make a few friends and conections.... thus the call on the cell phone to a buddie to come help them...
