i can't figure out what to comment that doesn't make it sound like I'm every other person who thinks your art is wonderful, but not a comment that will never be answered/needs to be answered because then I will be just another person whose comment is "ignored" so to speak.

XD I don't mean to offend or anything, but the sad fact is, most people who are popular on Deviantart don't have the time (or in some cases) patience/energy to deal with comments.
I fully understand that its hard to really reply to someone who puts " 
I guess I shouldn't have assumed that you were one of those people, but on the bright side, I THOUGHT THAT YOU WERE SO AWESOME THAT EVENTUALLY YOU COULDN'T MANAGE THE FLOW OF COMMENTS YOU GET.
really, I just feel bad when I come to a popular deviation, and there are all these people who have written a comment that practically begs for a reply, but they are left unanswered, and its really kind of...sad. =I *random vent*

for those reasons, though, I don't, like, ever comment on other people's art, for fear that my comment will not really ever reach that person, so why bother....

A few words to add if you don't mind. The previous replies wow completely from the mind & the the heart amazing. @Ryuuzenga There never is enough time in a day to do all that we want or desire but it's the thoughts & and efforts of what you can do or say to some that makes it worthwhile to us. And with so much comments I bet it keeps you willing to show off your talent and love of art.

i post my drawings just hoping someone else will be happy looking at it
so every comment makes me feel like ive at least made someone else happier even if i cant always find the words to say to everyone
i draw whenever i feel like it ... but your comments make me want to keep posting :3
