True. I'm so glad I got to read that. I especially liked the way Percy reacted to finally figuring out Nico's secret. Most authors just make him either too insensitive, or too sympathetic, so that's refreshing. It's something I can totally envision Percy doing, like, it's actually how he'd react to such a situation. Look to the sky and do a Calypso impression like, "Seriously, Aphrodite?!"
And there was actually some plot! Man, you have to recommend me more things like these. FFnet just doesn't cut it for me anymore...

yes! I think the writers made all the characters STAY in character! I especially liked the interactions between Hera and Aphrodite, that was exactly how they would interact

Hera and Aphrodite were really good. I can totally envision them sitting in the throne room on mount Olympus and being bored out of their minds before some sickness in their cerebrum decides to have this bet . Especially how Hera realizes true love but is still bitter about it due to her own experiences... Huh. Now that you look at it this way, it's actually majorly because of Zeus that Hera is so despicable. Now I hate her a little less... I think that except for the climax (I dunno, I can just never stomach a fourteen year old Nico doing 'it', sorry) I found everybody in character, which is a feat achieved. I write too, but I'm always concerned about characters acting out too OOC. I wished there was more of Jason, though...
I actually never shipped slash concerning the PJO fandom, but yeah, after HoH, it kind of started all by itself. Obviously, once upon a time I was a percico shipper, but somewhere along the way Jasico just started sounding so much better ... so yeah. But as long as its not Valdengelo (not that I hate this ship, but it just doesn't do it for me. I just want Calypso and Leo to be together so much that I'm killing my slash shipper heart this time ), I'll read pretty much everything.

I think both Nico and Percy were older in the fic, I'm not sure how long it has passed after the fight with Gaia, but I believe they were older when they did "it"

And yes, even Hazel was nice. I liked her especially because she wasn't trying to play a match-maker for her brother like most authors portray her as. Like, com'on, she's from the 1930s, and even if she is understanding and caring and accepts Nico as he is, I don't think she'll talk so openly and carelessly about it. she'll probably be fanning her face vigorously before approaching the subject every time
Truthfully, except for the canonical ones, only those two ships make sense to me... I really can't stomach Jercy, JasonxLeo(not that I don't read it), or Jestavian(I actually didn't think someone could ship Octavian )

hum I'm not sure if Hazel would be embarrassed to talk about it, but I'm sure she would accept Nico as he is and be supportive. Since she was very young when she died, I don't think she ever got to learn that being gay was "bad" (I mean I'm not saying that it is! it's just that people were ignorant and thought it was, and some still think it is :/ ) but maybe she would be embarrassed to talk about anything related to romance, straight or not.
I can appreciate some Jercy headcanons, they're usually very amusing haha, but jasonxleo doesn't make sense for me, especially jestavian!! O.O

True. Hazel won't be embarrassed, but it's probably going to be hard for her to talk about romance anyway. She's actually the only girl out of the seven that I find cool go figure. Probably because she doesn't seem blind in love (have you noticed how selfish Piper and Annabeth sound when it comes to Jason and Percy? It's understandable, but not cool. Not cool at all) and can keep a cool head despite being the youngest.
Jercy is like a crack pairing, I suppose. Good for laughs, but really, spare me a serious story involving this ship. I'll probably laugh out like a lunatic at it anyway. JasonxLeo, really doesn't make sense, but it's better than, say, Valdangelo. It's just... nah, two short, scrawny guys? Isn't that stereotypical? I dunno. I think Nico would send everyone who ships them to Tartarus if he ever found out... actually, he'll send anyone who ships him with anyone to Tartarus all the same.
I don't hate Octavian, but really, I don't want him to be shipped with anyone either. Let him be forever alone. He deserves it

I think the problem is not the girls, but how Rick writes romance.... I mean, Hazel is 13, she and Frank didn't have to be dating. I really like Piper and Annabeth, and they could be so much cooler if Rick didn't use their pov for talking about the boys... even so, Reyna is my favorite character right next to Nico
to be honest I don't thinK I have ever read a serious story about Jercy, it's usually just about them showing off who's the dominant one haha and sometimes Nico is involved.

Although I can't personally say that girls in reality are not as idiotic as Piper and Annabeth sound when talking about their significant others (I haven't fallen in love and many people tell me how I'm uninterested in romance and such in general ). I like Reyna, too. Third fav after Nico and Leo.

I personally don't like PercyxLeo because they are much too alike (or so I think anyway ). There are also other fics, although involving JasonxLeo. It's better because it's in Leo's POV

But I enjoy some canon ships, like percabeth and jasipher. I love Nico far too much to compare to anyone... uhm, may be L (Death Note) and Levi (Attack on Titan) are the only about characters who come near. I can never choose whom I like better in these three. They are the Holy Trinity to me

I can't explain it very well, but if you read through that encounter yourself again, you'll get it.

Mikasa is sometimes too worried and protective over Eren, but it IS understandable, I mean, her parents were killed in front of her, and then she was going to be sold as a sex object... and then Eren murdered I don't know how many guys just to save her, and then said he would be her new family. And then Eren's mother dies and his father disappears, so now everything Mikasa has left is Eren (and Armin of course! but Mikasa surely has romantic feelings for Eren). did you read the manga? there's a scene there where it's pretty obvious that their love is mutual.

"i have to kill in order to feel alive!" seriously? who wouldn't be creeped out? but i admire him because he chose to change himself for the better. i mean, look at sasuke (most fangirls would kill me, but i don't like him at all). the guy was far gone in revenge.
