Description
The Cross Family's most cherished weapon, The Grimm Killer.The Grimm Killer is a combat cross with multiple functions such as a stake, pointed hammer, and chain whip, it is said to have slain some of the most powerful creatures of Grimm, but as technology improved over the years, the Grimm Killer became nothing more then an ancient relic, but despite it's old age, it's still usable, but this weapon by birth right can only be used by the head of the Cross family, and is now in Hector Cross's possession.
(the idea for this weapon was inspired by Castlevania lords of shadow's Vampire Killer)

Wow… oddly enough a weapon whose compact form was a cross never…crossed my mind, so to speak; probably because there doesn’t seem to be traditional religion in the Rwby-verse so I just assumed crosses don’t exist.
I am a bit confused about the description though… it turning into a stake I can understand since the hilt could hide a knife…and your pick demonstrates how it turns into a whip but…how do you turn that little cross into a hammer?

The Cross's guard functions as the hammer part, lets say you were holding this weapon and you had to use it in close combat, the pointed ends of the guard would be your best option, i guess you can think of it as small pointed war hammer.
anyway just to clarify, the Cross Family isn't really a religious family, you see i based my RWBY OC (silver) off of Van Helsing, and as such i thought it would only make sense to make the Grim Killer (as well as the Family crest) take the form of a Cross.
also if you look at Ruby's hooded cloak, you'll see two small crosses on her shoulders that help hold said cloak in place, and if you watch the RWBY Red trailer, you'll see another cross on Ruby's belt, I don't know if there's any religious meaning to that though, but they are indeed there.

So it’s not a hammer like Noras, but a more reasonable sized one, got it.
Also if memory serves the cross on the belt was replaced with a rose, but not the ones on the cloack.
