DID SOMEBODY SAY TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER?I've been planning to draw these shoes for almost a year. I finished them in 2 days. I wanted to get them done before school started.

and this bleach white sharpie marker to fix combaticus's eye, I got one at michael's, If you ever get one be careful with it. It'll bleed all over the place.

I've drawn on like 2 other pairs of Vans. Vans are great to draw on, but srsly, you can just get a rly cheap white pair of fabric shoes somewhere and draw on them just at well.
I found this stuff called Liz Claiborne Shoes Rain & Stain Repellent. It's alright.

It's a bit tougher to work with than sharpies, but even acrylic paint (even the super cheap kiddie paint) will stick really well, and will not bleed when wet. Dirt and grime doesn't stick to it very well, either. I have a pair of shoes I painted last winter and they still look new as ever.

it's just a matter of coloring in the lineart you do originally anyway. You should give it a try.
