he aint fully kryptonian , its luther dna mixed with kal's and i can see what you mean by angst but idk if he's truely proved he's more than the sum of his genetic programming.
it's not the superboy i recall whom should have more attitude and confidence and im surprised by kal's apparent hesitance with him overall. usually he's more jubilant with kryptonians overall, when they're not egocentric SOB's. Though i will cut slack due to the luther link - it just seems odd as a story element.
This is well done , the logo though goood needs work its too flat and angled in general from my perspective and lacks depth compared to the face

they're in season 2 if not near 3 and basically its like 3-5yrs after season 1 theres new young justice members Robin has become nightwing and theres a new boy wonder (tim drake i think) theres more to it but basically this superboy
isnt like the 90's era cocky one wherein he had all of Kal's powers. this one is kal el's dna + luther dna with some mods that allow certain people to screw with him if they're still there.
luther had made some curious patches that allowed him temporary access to the full kryptonian spread but they werent something it seemed has been kept in use in part cause the metallic case that was sorta like an old skool cig keeper had a tracking device in it and was exploited by luther.

I know all this. Also Kon form the comics was still a Kal and Lex hybrid. Also I know all about the show but I still want him to get the others powers.
