Nice subtle work -- the way the black outlines are incorporated without flattening the hovercraft, and the soft metallic sheen to the body.
Just a question, please... the shadow underneath I gather serves to illustrate vertical depth? Does it matter whether the shadow is towards the front (as in this case) or behind it? The highlights on the body seem to face the same direction in which the shadow spreads. Thanks in advance for clarifying.

Yes, but... maybe I should rephrase my question. Does it matter if the shadow were shifted a few pixels to the left so that it only shows under the silver "engines" and the front? Or would that give the impression of less distance between the bottom of the craft and the ground?
