Finally I have a good photograph of the wedding rings I made for my husband and I.They are made of 14k White Gold. They were carved in wax then poured in my old silver smithing course at JCCC in KS. I spent $500 alone on the gold but I did have some left it was a good price in the end I got some really nice deals. Because that amount I needed it easily should have been over $1,000 in gold alone.
They are supposed to look like old pieces of parchment that are being held together by a wax seal (like on old letters).
The ring in French is for me says, "Vous et nul autre". And has a star seal because my husband has a star tattoo on his left wrist the underside of it.
The ring in English is for my husband it says, "You and no other" which is what the other one said only in French. His is being held together by a seal of a crescent moon which is a symbol for new beginnings thus getting married.
I'm putting these photos in my art portfolio because I'm going to apply to an art school next week in France. Wish me luck!

fabulous & distinctive, I love the worn chunky look, bet they feel nice - plus you won't have to worry about the numerous tiny abrasions they'll gather over time, they will add even more character

Exactly it just keeps looking better that is for sure n_n And there are no stones I have to worry about falling out either which is a pleasure for me since I'm not real a "rock" kinda gal.

We have copper rings that I ordered from someone on etsy, but, they are wearing out. We've worn them for about a year and all the engraving has worn down and you can't read it. :/ Plus they turn your fingers green. ha ha. I'm thinking about making a set of rings using resin, either having lyrics from our song inside or a military achievement ribbon inside. But I'm not sure. It's a hard decision, making wedding rings. :]
