This great guy died. I've seen is programs when I was smal. I've alwas loved the way he was. Anthousiastic and jolly. He's passion was his death. I will always see him als the croc guy.RIP Steve Irwin.
I drew him as a jolly little chibi riding a big angry croc!

He made my childhood what it was. I watched Croc Files everyday as a kid, even reruns. He went out in the best way possible: doing what he loved. I'll never stop missing him

I remember waking up that morning, turning the TV on and just being in total shock. I denied it for awhile. My dad and I used to watch his show when I was real little.

He was, the real reason I ever started watching Animal Planet, and why I loved animals so much. He was, and still is, the most loving animal lover I have ever seen. May his soul rest, and lets hope, no one ever forgets him. He was, and still is, a legacy.

Good for him, man! He died doing what he loved! This would be like if Richard Machowics blew himself up on a super-intelligent land-mine or Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman caught fire and burned to death trying to find out if they could light their own farts or if Les Stroud finally frozen or starved to death! Seriously. The Discovery Channel asks just a bit too much from their stars.
