All the sketches are so awesome! But I can't tell if that 9-tail fox girl is mine or someone elses :'D Most likely someone elses. Regardless they all look very awesome! And it's very kind of you to do so many of them for free for people.

And..i need to practice : ) so what's the point on randomly doing sketches and then trashing them x) better to drawn other's OCs : )

AHH. Yeah that makes sense. But you know, looking at it made me realize that perhaps my fox girl needs a revamp if I can't even tell her apart from someone elses :'D
I understand that, but not everyone thinks in that manner, a lot of artists don't take requests or do what you have done, possibly because they are extremely busy, but I believe its not just because they are busy.
Personally I agree with you, on a forum I'm on, I have a request thread that allows people to get full-body coloured images from me, most get posted there and to tumblr + my scrap account on dA, and it helps me improve, when I can't draw anything for myself, at least I can draw someone elses interesting character and make time to practice.

yeah im exactly that way. I suck at thinking about what to draw...so it's easier for me to put other ppl to do so ;D and i pay them with sketches ;D sounds like a nice deal to me x)
And...yeah..u are right, some dont do it cuz they are busy, others dont do it because they dont need it, and others dont do it cuz they think their time is worth money. Which, don't get me wrong, it's totally ok to think that way but yeah, maybe im too naive in that area xD

Yeah. Although I feel bad when I run out of creativeness and end up having to let the person wait a bit till I can get the request right, they are always so patient though (I guess cause it is for free).
Hmm and right you are about reasons others do not do it. I don't think you naive though? From what I can tell you do get quite a large amount of commissions? And you do them at reasonable prices (maybe too reasonable) so I think your very much set on the commission side of things, so I guess it's alright every once in awhile to give out a few free sketches where you can chose if its bust, waist or full-body depending on how creative you feel.

oh yeah totally : ) i do get a lot of commissions. That's why i do it. I wanna give other ppl the chance to at elast have something from me x) even if its just a sketch .Besdies, if my watchers are happy, im happy : )
Also, these sketches are a way to get a discount. Cuz ima start offering to color the sketch for 10$ so those who have won a sketch have a discount on what would be a normal commission : ) well, that in case they want me to color it x)

I'm honestly very glad you get a lot of commissions, some tend to struggle with getting them so it's really lovely to hear when someone is doing well with them. Even more so when they are willing to give out free sketches because they are doing so well. And to also give discounts is really awesome too.
Your a really kind artist, and have such a lovely positive outlook on all of this, it's really lovely to hear it.

i really still find it hard to believe how good this is going for me. Specially since i'm not very fond of my art. But i guess we are all that way right : ) ? we always put ourselves waaaay lower than what ppl see so we don't get too cocky in life
But what is true is that i'm nowhere near of were i'd like to be. But that's my own fault. Its been just 5 weeks since i started to do this like this and i've felt i've improved a lot. I can't imagine where would i be right now if i have done this waaaay before x). Anyway, those free sketches are what keep me going this way : )

It's alright to not be fond of your art, because I feel that it pushes one to work hard so that one day you can be happy with it. Although I'll be honest I myself am not happy with my art either, but I'm a lot happier about it than I used to be, I somehow formed a way of making myself happy with what illustrations I do produce.
And yes |8 being cocky is no fun for those around you, I have a teacher at Uni that is fairly cocky because well...he's done very well for himself and it's gone to his head a bit.
Hmm yeah, the more you do it, improvements occur however slight or large. Personally since I started Uni and started doing free full-colour arts I've had improvements here and there, not just on the illustration but my productivity and how quickly I can get an illustration done.
It all helps in the end! But that being said, if you ever get too busy, don't put more on your plate, because not matter how well you are at time management, you will stress, and that is never good. We all have limits

Well, so far i havent felt stressed just 1 bit. Cuz drawing is what i do not only as a job but something i do for fun adn entretaiment as well. As some might say, this is my passion. This is what i like to do and this is what i want to do : ) that's why i only offer girls for free sketches. Cuz that way i can draw as many as a TON and won't be bored or feel stressed. I LOOOOOVE drawing girls, as you might have noticed x)

I have to apologize for taking so long to respond! I've had a very busy week. But yeah I understand being passionate about something, drawing is really all I do in my free time, besides playing every now and then some video games. But I dunno, I sometimes need a rest from it to reboot my imagination, even though drawing is what I want to do (so much so that it will most likely be my career from now on) but I need breaks for some reason mostly when I have art block haha.
But yes I understand loving to draw girls. I find them much easier to draw and create images for, which is probably why my entire gallery is of girls
