Backstory
One of oldest dark creatures of Abeiriat, pure descendant of darkness. He wasn't the first emperor, yet very few can remember how he obtained the position, so many centuries ago it happened. Other dark creatures, if asked about a possible replacement, talk differently, yet agree that they don't mind him yet.
Many things took place during his reign, including the terrifying rampage, but he managed to resolve it all.

Personality
Cold headed, observant, won't speak unless necessary. He's bored of things that most crave for - fame, harems, luxury, power. He likes to learn more, read, practice magic and skills, but also he greatly likes fighting tournaments and even participates in some as "final boss".

He has never had a mate, but he has a lot of demlings; he's not interested in family, as it's a weakness, and he doesn't acknowledge his spawns until they prove themselves worthy, prove that they're strong. Only the worthy live with him in his palace, the rest is scattered all over the demon land, and their origin doesn't matter anything at all.

Takme
Takme are the [first] dark creatures, created by the dark entity. They used to be the only inhabitants of Abeiriat, pure dark creatures, before they began to be affected by the middle realm. Due to the influence, dark creatures started to change, yet there were still enough of pure takme, who preferred to breed with only their unaffected kins.
When Aterrimawenn went on a rampage, she wiped out almost all takme, leaving very few (she'd wipe them all if she wasn't stopped).

Demon rank
The highest possible demon rank.

The Demon Emperor candidate must defeat the current emperor and kill them, then devour completely - by doing so they inherit most or some of the abilities the defeated emperor had, and, also, lore-wise, it's believed to be the only way to respect the defeated as well.
If a candidate fails, they're killed instead, and their corpses are left to rot.

Aterrimawenn
Resvaldr and Aterrimawenn have a messy relationship. It's hard to describe the status of it even - it's long not 'official' only, but how far it's in 'private' - no one, aside from them, knows. They share a long history.
Aterrimawenn likes to visit his palace and talk with him about anything, or bother him with pretty much anything she comes up with to annoy him.
Resvaldr doesn't mind and sometimes even looks up for her visits.

Abilities:
- shapeshifting;
- dark fire and fire abilities;
- dark magic, including long forgotten/forbidden/etc;
- advanced blood magic (rumoured) - ability to control other dark creatures (their movements) and command them;
- advanced regeneration/healing (one of the best among all dark creatures);
- telepathy;
- telekinesis;
- hypnosis - as some say, just by looking into his eyes, you're already hypnotized by his piercing gaze;
- ???.

Weaknesses:
- even though he's weak to elemental light, it would cause less damage than to an average demon.

Other facts:
- one may wonder how he has so many spawns, well, he holds tournaments for females only - lets them compete for the prize of bearing his spawn;
- his commonly used forms are dragon and human, rarely he uses other forms; yet, no one knows how his original form looks like;
- his blood varies between normal red and black.
