Description
I wasn't sure how to draw this, so hopefully the story explains it despite my bad writing skills.
Basically, Lux has a dream and realizes she's been ignoring her friends and has a crush.

Story (word count: 711)

  It was late one Friday night, Lux fell back onto her bed from exhaustion. She had gotten up so early to help her friend Echo volunteer at the Nook for the day, came home to take care of the families puckoo and worked on her current research project. Lux spent hours at her desk writing and studing the different insects she had in been collecting over the years. She hadn't realized how long she had been working until a light started to shine through the window. Noticing that it was morning again, Lux finally feel the tiredness hit her, which led to now.

  Lying on her bed, Lux felt her eyelids get heavy, they closed before falling asleep. Everything was dark until there was a blue light. Lux seemed to be in an area she's never seen, a quiet voice could be hear beside her.
"Hello" It was a wyngling, they looked just like her when she was younger. Lux was silent for a moment before realizing what was going on, this was all a dream and this wyngling really was her. That's the only answer right?

Lux gives the wyngling a smile and nervously replies "Oh hello, do you know where we are?"

The wyngling giggled "No, but I know why we are here. We need to talk about you're friends."

Lux furrowed her brows "What do you mean? What's wrong with my friends?"

The younger one laughs again, but it doesn't seem as lighthearted as before " If there is something wrong with them you wouldn't know, would you? As soon as you grew up you basically ignored them. Have you even seen Munch, Petunia, or even Hollow? No you haven't."

Lux glares down "That may be true, but it's not like there isn't a good reason. I have so much to do, I have work, research and volunteering. I don't really have time to hang out with friends. At least I make time to be with one friend."

The wyngling gives Lux a seemingly innocent smile "Oh yes, Echo, you are only making time for him because you have a crush on him. If it wasn't for that you wouldn't even care."

A shade of pink covers Lux's face at the word crush 'Is that really true?' Her ears fall back as she shakes her head "That's not true, I make time because I care about him and his kids-"

Lux was cut off by the angry child in front of her "Oh! So you don't care about any of the others? Do they mean nothing to you? Did they ever?"

A growl slips out of Lux's mouth as she listens to these accusations "Of course I care!" her expression saddens "I'm just scared."

"What is there to be scared about?" The child looks up with a cocked brow.

Words don't come out at first, but Lux finally replies " I'm scared they don't want to talk to me anymore, that they would be annoyed if I tried to be friends with them again."

The kid calmed down "That may happen, but don't you still want to see how they're doing? You may not stay friends with them, but if you care you should at least check up on them."

  Lux sits there for a moment thinking over what to do. Suddenly her surrounding start to fade and the ground shakes, she notices the wyngling isn't next to her anymore. As everything goes back to black a voice gets louder and louder. "Lux wake up!" Her eyes open to see the ceiling of her room, her dad was next to her.

"Ah, you're finally up! You missed breakfast, you stayed up all night again didn't you?" He gives her a toothy grin as she sits up and rubs her eyes.

Um, yeah I did." She gets out of bed then looks down to Boog "Dad, do you need my help today? I really need to talk to someone..."

He's still smiling as he walks out into the hall "It's fine, I'll make Cam help me. Just make sure you grab something to eat before you leave." Lux stands in her room for a second thinking about what exactly she was going to do "I guess I should go find them first."
