I didn't know that the Peony represents wealth & fortune.(LOl even though there's a giant poster of it in my living room--one of those asian paintings)But to be honest, I don't like it very much. After learning it's meaning, I kept thinking about how wealth can buy a person luxury goods and the like, but it cannot buy a person happiness.
*Personal thoughts*
I kept on thinking about my Kareshi's issue about being forced into the nursing field whereas he really wants to become a math teacher because he enjoys it. This summer I didn't produce as much drawings as I hoped to because I had doubts about becoming an artist as a career.My skill level in art is still very unpolished & I have no idea where I can go with it--or just how far it will take me, but it's something I have a passion for (Very thankful for my parents for their support///) Fortunately, a million thanks to the people who sent me supportive messages unknowingly of my problem at such a perfect time!////
Being an artist isnt the most financially bringing career, but it's something I'm more than happy to work with!"Do what you love to do and the money will follow"

anyways~! if you like something and have passion, it wont feel like work at all. you'll be doing sometihng that you enjoy! besides you should try to see if you can go far with the art you have greatly produced!

OOh! Actually I've been inside Pixar's headquarters once for an interview to try out interning as an Information tech person (Totally died from the interview questions--took 4 hrs & oh well--i'm GLAD i didn't get the position) But I do know that pixar and those kind of companies often look for traditional artists unless you want to go into the 3D animation group; Haha but good luck with it! Never lose sight of your goals, Natii! >^

I was actually thinking of becoming an artist when I was still in highschool, but then I also realize that I won't be able to earn much (especially here in my country) And I might end up hungry in the streets with the sign "Will draw for food". Lol!
Kidding aside, I personally draw because I enjoy it a lot, and it gives me fulfillment if other people appreciate my works
