I found the ending... Anti climactic. Don't get me wrong... Yay! Evil was defeated and all... But I found myself going, "really? is that it? Come one now, go back to Zhao. Let Spirit Iroh serve tea and cake and bring us more wisdom."

It was hilarious seeing Zhao -- my headcanon is that his evil soul was trapped in the spirit world, which was where his memory-less state in "Water Tribe" comes from.

Wan, Yangchen, Kuruk, Kyoshi, Roku and Aang's fate is unknown. You might have to speculate.
It makes it seem like their spirits were destroyed or something as they are all "The Avatar". At the same time, if Korra is able to be a person and not die (somehow) without being the Avatar, I guess they're emphasizing they were, in fact, they're own person. Each of them. Meaning like all spirits, they're still in some cloud of spiritual-ness somewhere and Korra is just disconnected from them and is the last and first Avatar of a cycle.

As Tenzin pointed out, Korra has her own spirit. Raava is an inherited spirit. She didn't replace Wan's spirit. She simply fused with it. Likewise she fuses with the spirit of the next avatar in the cycle when that child is born. It is not a reincarnation as you think of it. It's more like the "reincarnation" of the Elijah spirit. It's inherited, not reborn. Therefore a child about to enter the world can inherit that spirit, rather than the spirit having to wait for a child to be conceived, then develop in the womb, then be born.

You have a point there. There were emphasizing that she was her own being separate from the Avatar meaning so did the others. That would mean they aren't destroyed.
The only thing odd to get used to is that it was previously known that the Avatar was a spirit that took the form of a human in order to relate to human feelings and lives and truly be able to help them. And thus lives and dies. And is reborn to live and die again. This lead me to believe they were all the same person, as in a reincarnation of a previous person. Each having their own life and personality as their own person. But otherwise spiritually the same person.
When they decided to reveal that the Avatar created itself and gave itself a purpose through Wan and Raava I assumed it was merely an explanation that the Avatar was literally a bridge between the living and spirit world because the Avatar was part both. That Wan and Raava merged together and were both one entity: The Avatar.
But that theory made me think Korra would die if she lost Raava because she is a distant reincarnation of Wan himself, something only possible if her spirit is literally the same as Wan's. That she was her own person as a person living a new life but still just Wan, Yangchen, Kuruk, Kyoshi, Roku and Aang living a new life in a new physical body. This seems to claim that she is NOT a reincarnation of Aang but simply inherits Raava from him due to some supernatural force allowing her hold spiritual energy from each Avatar and them move instantly from a dying body to whoever's being born at that time in the next element, and thus making that person capable of wielding the 4 elements carried by Raava and becoming "The Avatar" and being able to telephone the spirits of past Avatars.
I guess I technically like the reincarnation idea better for some reason but oh well. lol Thanks for helping me analyze that properly! c:
