I can't find the episode they appeared in, somewhere in season 2, but they're this race of tribal lion-people who have a high sense of honor.
It's a pretty good episode if you can find it, and for some reason this guy reminds me of them, but with more of a European type influence.

I haven't done much but this was fun. I was a huge, Thundercats and He-man fan as a kid. Lots of Anthro there.
