Very nice work! I've always liked Hawkman because he is such a good visual character. You've done a great job including detail without making it look stiff or overworked. Good proportions and the shading creates a darm mood that works very well for the character. Reminds me of David Finch's work.

WOW! Excellent detail and shading! And the anatomy and pose rock! I've never known too much about the character, but you make him look awesome.
Yeah, I've also found that drawing new characters is really helpful in improving. I tried drawing a different X-Man every day, but I never had time to finish one before starting the next.
