I approve of Mira muscles! It would show somewhat with her slogging through snowfall, wielding long swords and armor for as long as she has in your written works.

Yeah, I have meant to depicted Mira to be a little more ripped but not super buff. Hard to do while maintaining the sex appeal in our community. Thank you for the comment, as always.

The subtle bulge of the abdomen is a nice realistic contrast with many pictures of pregnant ladies (including ones I draw); from the front, it should look like this with most of the roundness projecting forward and not so much visible at the sides. As I recall, this belly shape is one clue doctors use to distinguish pregnancy from obesity (where the weight tends to slosh out to the sides more).

Yeah, you can tell women are pregnant from behind with the way their weight shifts, or their hips are shaped. I've gotten quite good at that, telling if women are pregnant from behind, from working years of retail lmao. Their lower back gets a notable formation towards the end. So I take it you like the way Mira looks? Like her hips are wide and her legs are strong enough, but her belly is big and obviously so, but not outlandish, right?

Nothing wrong with being thicc (in fact I draw my pregnant ladies a little thicc as I'm sure you've observed ahaha.) Anyway, really nice detail on the hair, gauntlets, face etc. I would've shaded the lower side of her belly more, otherwise no more suggestions. I await the watercolor background! I tried a watercolor blender too once, I didn't like it either.

The watercolor blender, something isn't right with the one I have. I mean, I'm sure it's working as intended but it also blends India ink, the lines, so I can't use it. The Prismacolor colorless blender is not capable of budging fully dry India ink, idk wtf is in the watercolor one. And you saw shadow the lower side of her belly more? Kinda like how the space under her boobs? Her face isn't great, I have a hard time doing faces with markers, I feel I lose a lot of detail but I didn't want to just have Mira in her standard smirking, or puffy lipped expression I always do.

More shading on the lower belly, like under her boobs, correct. If you like maybe make it less visible as you approach her navel. Another thing I wanted too add was the hands are great. That's something I still struggle with a bit, good job.

Ok, I see what you're saying. Next time I break out my markers, I will give that a whirl. And thank you, I actually pride myself on how good I've gotten at drawing hands. They're actually not that hard anymore. My ability at drawing hands really improved as I started painting icons as there is a great emphasis on what the hands are doing and how you're supposed to view them.
