: this is for you ! I just felt like giving you something ... I always give you images with strange transports and thank you so much for all the faves, sweetie! I'm sending you the picture without watermark tomorrow ^^

This is an image from the German fairy tale "The Enchanted Princess", collected by L. Bechstein. I already submitted two WIP's of it.
The lineart was copied by someone from the original picture, and it's this: . I decided to retouch mainly the decorations of the carriage and the landscape. The reference is an original illustration by Ferri: . It was made in 1966 for an illustrated series of fairy tales. Besides the books, they made also several editions of the series composed by books+records (and later, in the years, the records were replaced by cassettes and then by cd's, with mp3 too, lately). They are the renown "Fiabe sonore" (Sounded Faity Tales). The copyright of the most recent series (including the lineart) belongs to Fabbri Centauria srl. A series of the same illustrated fairy tales, in English, was printed in the US in 1969: the "Storytime Treasury: A McCall Book" series!
This time I made a double watercolouring!!! Caran d'Ache and Faber-Castell watercolour pencils, Giotto Laccato and Bic Evolution coloured pencils, a very old light-blue Carioca marker, Lyra Art Pen and Giotto Turbocolor markers, Lyra Aquacolor water soluble crayons, a black PITT Faber-Castell artist pen, a mechanical pencil and a small correction in Paint (a mistake, you know ).

Colorazione da "La principessa incantata", fiaba tedesca raccolta da L. Bechstein. Ne avete già visto due WIP.
La traccia (in alto) è stata copiata da qualcuno dalla figura originale, perciò non era proprio identica al modello. Ho modificato soprattutto le decorazioni della carrozza e il paesaggio. Il modello è un'illustrazione originale di Ferri, potete vederla qua sopra. Fu fatta nel 1966 per una serie illustrata di fiabe. Oltre ai libri, sono state fatte anche diverse edizioni composte da libri+dischi (poi i dischi, negli anni sono stati sostituiti dalle cassette e dai cd, alla fine anche con mp3), le famose "Fiabe sonore". I diritti dell'ultima serie appartengono (compresa la lineart) a Fabbri Centauria srl.

Stavolta ho fatto una doppia acquarellatura!!! Matite acquarellabili Caran d'Ache e Faber-Castell, matite colorate Giotto Laccato e Bic Evolution, un vecchissimo pennarello blu chiaro Carioca, pennarelli Lyra Art Pen and Giotto Turbocolor, pastelli acquarellabili Lyra Aquacolor, una penna nera per artisti PITT Faber-Castell, un portamine e una lieve correzione di uno sbaffo fatta in Paint
