I never thought much of it myself, but a lot of people seemed to really love this one for some reason... so here it is 8D

Original Description

Proof that I do it. Actually, just messing around like the result too much to not post. Couple of things here. Firstly, after the minor style change, the way I did fur wasn't entirely working, made a slight change. Noticable? Not a huge difference. Also, started using blending stump heavily on fur. Liking the effect. Opens up some new possibilities. Second, due to a conversation sort of I had with someone, I realised that I haven't once in my entire gallery drew anything even close to looking at the viewer- always almost or completely to the side. Simultaneously, realised I can't really draw things facing the viewer at all. Started working toward fixing that. I didn't want looking right at the viewer, I think that looks odd anf funny, but something kind of close. Not bad first attempt. Other doodles also on the page, and a few tests... nothing important this time, just a slight artistic development, and only maybe.

Pencil lead suddenly became lighter (I use a mechanical pencil, the leads inside must have gone from one brand to another) than I would have liked it. Also forgot to re-outline some places. Expect next picture have darker outline, if possible. Not sure how I'l pull it off now, still don't want to use pen. Might try a normal not mechanical pencil.

Also, chipping away at list of deviations to comment on- down to sixty something out of the near three hundred there were the other day. Trying to get everyone on there at least once or twice, more if there's a lot I like

Anyone have any tips for black fur (or even fur in general)? I can't get the hang of it, no matter what I try it ends up looking like... well... looking like that. I've tried emulating people who I have seen do black in a way that I like and I can't even do that. So, if anybody knows anything.... I'm open to hear it.
