Amazing lines, love the composition and how the building fills the frame as you look up

It truly is an impressive building, most suited to break up the stodgy theme in Washington DC.

Without a doubt...it is one of the most impressive buildings I have ever seen...I love the graceful curves...

you should visit it in person, photos do it little justice - viewing it directly affords the tranquility of architecture "feeling" right and organic.

Great picture. Amazing museum, as well. I'd like to go see it again. It was too much to take in in a single day.

Indeed! It was such a pleasant surprise ,that both inside and out, the museum was a great tribute.

Thank you, of all the shots I took, this one I liked best for those reasons. I also felt the empty sky added to the "weight" a little bit, although I admit I would have prefered some nice contrast from clouds.

To be honest I didn`t notice the overexposed sky or perhaps it didn`t bother me as much as it usually does

You should probably invest in some ND or Polariser filters for your camera, they`ll be top of my list when I eventually buy a DSLR

I will actually be picking up an UV filter and Polarizer tomorrow, lol.
