I have a question, how do paint the white areas? do u leave them empty, or there is a white color that paints over the background (because usually in water color we cant paint lighter colors over darker ones)

i didn't think it was possible for watercolor to give something a "fuzzy" sort of appearance. i'd imagine that'd be something that was difficult at the very least. they look gorgeous
