BIG fucking difference, actually.Satanists, or should I say "rebel satanists", worship the devil. Atheists don't worship anything, because we don't believe in God, the devil, or anything like them.
It's not that hard, people, seriously.

xD satanists actually have rituals, and churches, and they're supposed to see the northern lights on lucifer's birthday and junk. I hate when people go around saying they're satanists, and then don't even know the religion.

There are more types of Satanism than just Rebel Satanism. There's modern/LaVeyan where they don't even worship Satan at all, but only recognize him as a symbol of how humans are. Then there are Traditional/Spiritual Satanists, who may or may not worship Satan, but here's the difference between those types of satanists and "rebel satanists". "Rebel Satanists" worship the CHRISTIAN Devil. They worship the ideas of being evil for no reason, sacrificing babies, drinking virgins blood, etc. In REAL Satanism, we don't believe in sacrificing babies or any other stereotype some of the Rebel Satanists may bring upon us. Again, sorry, but I just wanted to make that clear.
