Having had no left leg since her 22nd year, Anna, now 45, has absolutely no misgivings about appearing in public. And really, she’s a very attractive 45 year old. She has rarely worn a prosthetic leg since her accident and realizes that with each passing year, it is becoming harder and harder to crutch or hop or heel-toe everywhere. Despite that realization, today, she and her partner Paul are ‘in your face’ as they visit Wineries in the Okanagan of B.C. It is high summer and she likes a light and airy look, like the full body of a strong red with a hint of cherries and an elegant crisp and buttery aftertaste. I’m sure people enjoy seeing her “vintage” as much or more than some of the “vintages” they are sampling.
