Stupid title but meh.Haven't been on Neopets lately but I had this idea and decided to go with it. It's a shame really. I liked Neopets but they cluttered up the site and redid a whole bunch of images just making them worse and it all became a bit too unpleasant for me.
You might not get the joke if you don't know the site.

suprisingly.. that's how it is... my kacheek fought like 50 neopets for 10k in neopoints.. and she is quite the fighter.. for a bard.

i've played neopets before, but i stopped playing for awile. then i started again, just the other day, and i've already got to much food and a neo pet that is verybloated and i only fed it once. all the other times cam frm free stuff i didn't want, so now i'm worryed about it.
um, all of that was to help me when i say, yeah, i agree...i like the fairythings scarf by the way. ^-^

I'm sorry neopets upset you. They changed because the original company sold out to MTV. It bugged me too at first but once you get on and play enough you really start to appreciate the new graphics. It's much easier to navigate once you get past the STUPID advertisements.

Well, I didn't really appriciate all the pet art being changed into such static poses, while the old ones had such an awesome feel to them.
Heck, people wanted certain colors because of the poses on those colors. I know I did.
The new ones are boring, the same for every color, and yes, it's because of costumization, but people should have a choice of changing. The thing is, most pets changed without choice, and with no choice to go back, the pets that didn't change are now half of the size and suck in one pose as well.
It was very, very poorly done and they didn't attempt to do anything about it.
Regardless, I'm past neopets, it was more of a 'friends' thing, like an MMO. My friends moved on and so did I. Apoligies for the big rant, it's hard to say anything without saying everything.

Its really a shame that neopets doesn't have more creative minds. the poses were way cool and what's with every pet holding up a fist now?

I belive they hold their fists for costumizable items that they can hold, though that's stupid too. Gah. it's not what it used to be, and TNT doesn't really care about anyone that's been there for a long time, they only care for new people to come in and give them money.

Oh I know! Neocash is a total scam! I mean I can understand sites having you pay to play certain games but BUYING CLOTHES? and each neocash Item is like a dollar fifty if not more!! And when it really comes down to it do neocash items really help you on the site? NO! What has this world come to!

I was on neopets for a LONG time, then left after they started to do all that sponser-frenze, customization-give me all your money, change the art of your neopet you've had for four years crap >w<
I joined back on recently. :3 This makes me happy. I got a petpet on the tree today!

Yeah, in a short period of time they really managed to screw up everything pretty badly,it's probably due to selling out to nickelodean or wtv.
I understand the ads, they really have to gain some money in order to keep the site running and pay the people that work on it, but they just failed at everthing else. Not to mention they don't care about anyone that had stayed with them for 7 years or something, because it's not like those people were going to buy anymore of their crap.

I mean, they even got rid of the cards and the magizine. And they're litterally forcing you to partipate in the NCmall which is totol crap, plus people who arn;t in America can't particapte.

Yeah, tell me about it. I don't really mind the adds, I mind that sponcered sites become more important that the neoworld itself. Sure its free neopoints, but it takes the magic away from the place when I have to find the Bobbleheaded Capri Sun guy >w<
They sure gain money with that neomall. You need to buy a ten dollar cash card in order to ship coded crap to someone else that you bought with real money. It's just sad.
I know. Maybe the people they bought out to. MTV or whoever, will grow bored and give it to someone who'll keep the spirit alive.
