Oh boy this is super neat. I love the dark and eerie vibe of this piece; it looks like this creature is in some kind of a shadowy swamp, what with the trees in the background and the foglike textures above the surface of the darkness. The darkness at the bottom rather reminds me of black, slimy water, since the highlighting on it from the spherical ball's glow reminds me of a water's surface reflection. Those many limbs really add a great aesthetic to the piece, what with them dripping and being all goopy, as if it's something literally risen / formed out of the water / darkness, and those long, spindly digits for fingers are just great, good for grasping little children foolish enough to venture into its domain! Unless he just happens to be a friendly monster instead.

I love the part coming out of him at the back, it's almost reminiscent of what could have been a half-formed wing, or a method of blending into the terrain, as it also looks very branch-like (albeit one with cascading, slithery, dark tendrils falling off of it). His mane almost looks feathered or furred, and the shading on it is really nice. That white, mask-like face and markings and very reminiscent of a skull, readily adding to your ominous atmosphere, and really popping out as the central focus of the piece, as they are such a contrast to most of the darker colors here. Lovely! The purple / black / blue shades were a really good color choice to go with, since they fit the mood. Overall, fantastic job!

Wow this popped up randomly after I deleted something in my devwatch and I was just like 'who the hell drew this one?? I love it!" I never in a million years would've placed kawaii-bomb you to it this is so cool! XD The details and ornamentation on that skull are just the sickest!

I'd love to see what you can come up with for this guy he's neat! I'm glad to see you could crank something out again, I hope that block's chipping away!
