First Marker picture using Letraset Promarkers for ^^This is of the awesome Major Kusanagi from the "Ghost in the Shell" series! The reference i used was a popular image i found on google. - [link]
I had alot of fun with this! I usually do Digital pieces but using the markers was an awesome change from the usual, and it helped me bring my inspiration back as well which is why i got alot planned in the drawing area now ^^.
I think with this piece the hair could have been better and there is a bit near the lip that could have been improved as well but because this is my first piece i can always improve and learn to do better on my next piece! In all though i am happy with the result and look forward to doing more marker pieces soon!

Wow, sweet! Even though purple hair is the most vibrant colour, it actually seems to blend in with the grey of the gun
I've only seen the film of Ghost in the Shell, it's pretty good. I need to watch some episodes though, I have 5-8 of Stand Alone Complex on DVD

Why do you say you used copics when you didn't? You used promarkers. Anyway, nice to see you doing some traditional work.

Letraset Promarkers, Copics pretty much. The ones ya got from expo

I think i can safely say. Firstly WOW!!!. Seriously nice work! ^^. And secoundly, definately want to see you do more stuff with copic markers and i look forward to seeing you progress with your skills in using them as tools in your work!!

The annoying thing though is the colours on the scan didnt come out as dark as i hoped ><
