Hi dear friends
Howdy everyone? Hope you all are doing well.
First of all, I apologize for my late reply on my deviation pages, journal and in the notes.
A lot of unexpected things happened and affected my life in the latter years.
I felt like I need a break from everything for some time and be alone with myself finding some peace of mind. That's why I'd been inactive on DA for a few months.
Actually, I didn't go to anywhere. I didn't do anything and tried not to think. I just lay in bed watching many (old) movies every day and let them take me away from reality.
Some day I spent time with classic movies like Gone With the Wind and Sunset Boulevard (Gloria Swanson gave unforgettable performance.)
Some week I watched so many movies based in Stephen King's novels. I really enjoyed most of them especially an underrated one called Riding the Bullet which affected me

why make it fast? why not take your time or let the art itself dictate the time? the fact you can do all that fast is simply amazing to me, it takes me hours to find the stock lol

Heehee well, fast to practice. And fast for me is 10 to 16 hours. But I have taken 40 or 60 for other landscape pieces... and that is definitely too much. So trying to learn to do the same things faster, more precisely attack the stuff that needs it and leave some stuff people won't notice untouched. Also trying to do faster stuff in general... like the premades, or faster manips, to get used to not spend a week or more on every piece.

I would imagine the more repetitive the effect, the faster you will get it, so that should definitely save some time. I wouldnt mind so much if you got really fast at the premades, that way, the faster they are done, the faster I will have stock to play with

lol me too, there have been I think 2 that I actually finished, the others, like you, spent hours on them but still wasnt feeling them. I hate that, you spend all this time on it, and then you still cant connect to you, you cant feel it or it just doesnt feel right ha ha wanna trade??? lol

very serious, I have so many that I spent alot of time on, the one I am working on for instance, since last week, it is just not coming together right. i love the model, but I cant seem to get a good scene going for her, I am about to scratch it and start something different, or just put it in the "working on" file on my desktop lol

anyway, oh ya I am serious. for one, you do awesome backgrounds, and my backgrounds suck lol I have all these ideas, I see a model and depending on her pose or expression, I get an automatic vision of what scene I want her in, but of course, my technical skills is sorely lacking in that department and I often go with a background I am not entirely happy with or I just put it on the back burner. I have quite a few that I have specific visions for, as I love the models, I just can build a scene for them
