Work completed during my year-long internship with the Ohio Division of Wildlife. This particular piece was a magazine spread for the WildOhio Magazine's 2014 Children's Edition!

Into the marsh! I had never properly experienced a marsh until I visited the Magee Marsh area off the coast of lake Erie a few weeks prior to this project- definitely an inspiration.
Featuring: North American beaver (Castor canadensis), yellow-throated warbler (Setophaga dominica), prothonotary warbler (Protonotaria citrea), blue-winged teal (Anas discors), blue dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis), Northern leopard frog (Lithobates pipiens), muskrat (Ondatra zibethicus), marsh wren (Cistothorus palustris), and Eastern tiger salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum)!
