oh, I have to thank you for not putting the watermarks in more 'important' places, so they protect your rights but also make the photo clear enough to look at

It actually took me a while to find the watermark, hahaha. I like the subtlety of the shot. Soft light, focus, colour etc.

I was going to say it's a good job you didn't use your finger to cover the flash. Shots tend to come out red if you do that, haha. The only issue with the hardly visible watermark over the dark area is that it wouldn't be too hard for someone to remove.

true, but it would be even less visible over the light area. i tried it everywhere 
and i've got the original, so bollocks. i could start off a huge debate saying that, but i have, so >_>

You should be fine just having the original. It's not as though this is a big enough image to make a decent print from anyway. I remember once a friend of mine had one of his self-portrait photos stolen from dA and used on a (if I remember correctly) gay Italian nightclub's website and other advertising etc. dA helped sort it out. The only issue with something like that is you have to rely on someone actually noticing. It's unlikely to happen unless you're a famous photographer or the images are used so widely that it gets spotted. I have no idea who originally spotted the image stolen from my friend's gallery though.
