A roleplay between me and PalePalette about the battle between PebbleClan and MoonClan.

Applepaw walked forward waiting to see any pebbleclanners coming, she was hoping not soon she didn't really think was the best idea, what did pebbleclan ever do to us. she spotted an apprentice coming as she jumped into a small bush, her tail sticking out.

Lightpaw stood beside the rest of the patrol. She wasn't really focused on what was going on. Suddenly, before she knew what was going on, the battle was in full swing. She bounded forward, ready to fight. She leaped towards a brown and cream apprentice, someone she could handler and aimed to bowl the cat over.

Applepaw slid out of the way as the other apprentice leaped towards her, "No hello? ok, then." she muttered, she kept her claws sheathed. Slightly looking around as other cats were fighting, 'this is stupid' she thought getting back up

Lightpaw fell and rolled over her head and then skidded on her back. When she finally stopped herself she heaved herself up and charged at Applepaw, claws swiping viciously but without control.

----------

She kept jumping back as she started clawing at her. "were you just apprenticed or something?" She asked.

----------

"No," Lightpaw lied indignantly. She trembled angrily, tail bushed up and jumped, trying to knock Applepaw's paws out from under her.

----------

"You seem like" she laughed, watching the apprentice jumped at her, "I can help you learn sometHINNG" she said her paws moving going down

----------

Lightpaw lashed out at Applepaw's back with her sharp paws.
"MoonClan scum!" she yowled, "Get out of our territory and stay out!!" she was furious, this being her first experience with MoonClan, this was all she thought about them, knew about them.

She let a small squeal as her claw hit her back, "Moonclan scum? Why would you think that?" She mewed standing up slowly

"Because you flea bags are in our territory!" She kept scratching at the she cat's pelt. "You should stay in your forest!"

----------

"Can you listen!" She hissed scratching her cheek, "It's not our fault! We didn't wanna fight you guys!" She said

"Well they why don't you leave, kittypet!" Lightpaw screeched, reeling as blood dripped down her cheek. She whirled around and kicked at applepaw's face and chest with her hind legs, claws outstretched. blood was pounding in her ears. adrenaline pumped through her veins.

Applepaw stayed down "is hurting me making you the better apprentice" she said, not fighting back with apprentice. She slowly looked around, making sure her mentor was around seeing her like this.

Lightpaw stumbled, and rolled away from applepaw and onto her feet. "What warrior would I be if I didn't defend my clan from rogues like you?!" she hissed, charging back in trying to tackle applepaw.

----------

She glared getting up leaping onto Lightpaw, landing on her back before jumping off her. "Ha! Like were rogues" she said. The older apprentice growled, "This is why our leader came you for your clan! Because none of you listen!" She sighed, "if you would just listen to reason, we don't have to hurt each other! I personality love Snowclan, more than any other clan."

"What are you even saying? Listen to what reason? All you've done is come in here and try to hurt my Clan mates!" She stood, glaring at Applepaw, her tail bushed up, her eyes full of anger. "Everyone tells me how good of a leader Patchstar is, how she and Cursedstar used- are friends, but I think she's a fox - hearted snake!"

Applepaw listened to the she-cat, "p-patchstar.... she's... she's... she's dead..." she mewed looking away from the other apprentice.

"What?" Lightpaw asked, softening up a bit, "Then, why is Joltstar doing this? Does she blame us some how?" Lightpaw didn't understand MoonClan cats at all. They were so violent and vicious.

"Joltflash is dead too...." she kept her voice low

----------

"Then what twisted fox-heart is leader?" she asked, the battle raging around her.

----------

She looked around before stepping closer to the apprentice, "his name is Fallenstar."

----------

"Well, he's a piece of crow-food!" Lightpaw spat. The apprentice stepped a bit closer.

----------

"he is, i don't like him as our leader.." she mewed

----------

Lightpaw didn't know what to say. she swiped half heartedly at applepaw. she wanted to defend her clan, but this apprentice didn't want to fight.

Applepaw looked at Lightpaw, "go ahead.... protect your clan" she mewed

----------

Lightpaw sighed. "Most of your Clanmates are leaving," she said, "Just go. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'll be at the border." She swiped at Applepaw's ears, claws sheathed and hissed in mock fierceness.

She smiled, hissing back before running off.

----------

Lightpaw watched as her new friend fled. Suddenly, one of her Clan members was there, congratulating her on the fight. She swallowed and nodded, turning and padding quietly back to camp.
