Chapter One -Panic-

As she walked she began to look through the rack of clothes. She then stopped as she noticed something that she liked, she then took it down off the rack as she examined it closer.

"Hmmm...this is a nice jacket...I wonder how much it costs..."

She started to look for the price tag on the jacket.

"...Where is it?...Oh here it is."

She turned the price tag around and gasped as she realized how much it was.

"What!? Twenty five dollars? I thought that today was going to be a sale...that's all my money (sighs)...I guess I have to forget about buying an umbrella. I really need a job...but I have to wait until I'm sixteen...just one more year. Well at least I have enough to pay for what I really need...alright I've decided...I'll buy it...now where can I find a cashier?"

She looked around as she started searching the store for a counter.

"Hi would you like any of my assistance over there!!??"

"Huh?"

She turned to the voice to her right and saw a woman waving her arm around in the air in her direction.

"Oh there goes one..."

She walked up to the counter while the cashier said.

"Hi welcome to Torrid!! How are you today!? What's your name!? And would you like me to ring that up for you!?"

"Uh hi...I'm good...oh and my names Malina and yes please that would be great."

"Ooooh Malina what a pretty name I love your hair, you should be a model for our company! Oh and sure thing!"

Malina had a small sized chubby body, with reddish brown curly hair that was medium length hair that stopped just below her shoulders. She had light brown eyes and longish curly lashes, with a creamy skin tone and a natural soft pink color to her cheeks. She had a smallish mouth with natural pink lips, and round cheeks.

"(Slightly laughs) thanks."

Malina:*Yeah right...me a model? She's just saying all of this to become a manager here. *

Malina put the jacket on the counter as she started taking out her wallet.

"Oh and you have great taste too!"

"Thanks..."

Malina:*Everything here in Torrid is great tasting.*

"And how much would that be?"

She asked the perky cashier as she started looking through her wallet.

"Your welcome and that'll be $26.96."

"Okay."

Malina handed her the rest of her money.

"Here you go."

"Thank you."

The cashier started counting the money and then put it away in the register; she then reached out to hand Malina her change back but stopped.

"Here's your chan-"

"Aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!"

The cashier and Malina both jumped up in shock as the cashier threw her change into the air. Malina's change rained down on her as she looked around to see who screamed.

"What was that!?"

"...Hold on...I'll be right back."

Malina stared after the cashier who started walking towards the entrance of the store. Malina gasped as she noticed people running out of the outside mall towards the parking lot. The perky cashier was horror struck as she turned back to all the customers and yelled out.

"Oh my goodness!! Everyone run away there's a psycho lose!!!"

The cashier and customers that were closer to the entrance began to run out.

"What?...Oh no..."

She started walking fast to the exit but then stopped and started to get pushed and hit as the customers started running out. Malina tried to push back but didn't succeed. People started screaming while pushing and shoving.

"Hey! Ow! Stop! Damnit!!...I think I see the exit!"

Malina pushed harder through the crowd of people as she got closer and closer to the exit. She became even more scared as she watched people from inside of the store make it out alive.

"Almost there...just a little mor- ah!"

Malina got pushed to a metal wall and fell onto her back hard to the ground. She started to get stepped on and kicked in different places as she tried to cover her face. With a surprise Malina yelped with surprise as she grabbed her side and trembled with pain. She laid on the ground shivering hoping that it was all over.

She listened for anymore footsteps that ran past her face but heard none, she then opened her eyes and put her arms down and started to look around. She realized that she was kicked and pushed half way out of the store. Her torso was lying on the ground of the store while her legs were on the outside ground. She also noticed that the store was completely emptied of customers and employees.

Malina began to sit up but stopped and shot back down as she realized that her whole body stung of pain.

"Haaaow!! Oh no!...somebody help!!"

She picked her head up to look outside for help. It was completely silent and very dim. Malina gasped as she watched two men run off to the parking lot without looking her way.

"Help! Help! Help me please!!"

Malina started panicking as she noticed that she was completely alone, but she continued to yell out for help too terrified to stop. Malina then rolled over to her stomach and when she did she began trying to crawl towards the exit. As she continued to shout out, she then stopped crawling and cringed as she realized that her stomach and left side of her body were in terrible pain.

"Someone help me! Help me!"

She felt that she needed to cry, but she fought back her tears while she bit down on her teeth, but sadly her tears betrayed her and began to flow down her face. She pushed herself up with her hands and started to crawl again, while fighting back the pain that she felt in every movement that she made, and as she did so, Malina started to beg out for help not knowing what else to do.

"Please please please ple- (gasps)."

Malina stopped moving and crying as she realized that someone was standing next to her.

"Who's there!?"

Malina asked terrified hoping that this wasn't the person who made everyone run off and scream in horror. The man didn't say a word and Malina was too weak to turn her head and see who this stranger was.

~Summary~ Malina is helplessly alone and injured. How will she get out safely? Who is this stranger that appeared next to Malina? And is he there to help Malina or is he there to hurt her? Find out next time in chapter two -The Intense Meeting-
