i like his hair yush yushOne of my favorite Robot masters. DWN:09 Metalman!
freckles meant to represent his face masck part of his helmet.
i liked his "ears" too much to change them. XD

they aren't human. they are robots.

That's not what he meant. He knows that they're robots, what he means is that they're already human-like and have human features and hair, so there isn't really a point to making a gijinka of them. It's equivalent to just taking their armour off and giving them different clothes.
Don't take this the wrong way, I understand if you want to give them a different design as a human, this is just my opinion.
That aside, I like what you did with his hair. c: It's a nice design. I can see him wearing clothes like that.

Do they have hair? i don't remember ever seeing that. i think there is a point to making a gijinka. turning some non human at all even if somewhat human-like is fun! Maybe it's because i chose to make a ginjinka of the more human-like ones that this seems useless. maybe is i had done Airman or something.
to me making a gijinka isn't just changing their clothes or armor and then giving them new ones. it's using the elements that make the character and making them human where you can see what he/she was a gijinka of. and to me. the robots from Megaman and such. are built that way. they don't have hair. they don't wear armor. what you see is what you get.
i can understand you point of view that ginjinkas should only be for non human-like things but ginjinka is to turn something non human as a human. and so that what this is.

Megaman is seen without armour multiple times in the manga, as well as the games. (MM1, MM2, MMPU, RCW, etc.) He definitely has hair. Protoman is also seen without his helmet and armour in the manga, there is official art of him helmetless, AND he is shown helmetless in the Rockman 3 commercial. Roll is seen with a different outfit in Megaman 8, as well as the manga a few times. Zero can take his helmet off, and you can clearly see Terra's hair. Flashman is the only one who is "officially" bald, (He dislikes commercials for wigs in his CD data in Megaman & Bass, which leads many people to think that he's bald.) but even then, that means he can take his helmet off. There are also multiple figures with a few of them helmetless. (X, Zero, etc.)

So yeah, they definitely have hair. I understand if you still want to think that, though.

ok i've playes mm2 he keeps his helmet XD are they official manga? if yes it would explain why i've never seen them. i usualy just base it on the games.
but yeah zero and the other from the x games are more advanced though and are different .
i wouldn't mind links to the helmetsless metalman pic/manga pages though
roll is different too. she actually wears clothes. i meant more when it came to RMs

Dr. Light and Dr. Wily used to work together so they would have very similar designs and ideas, especially since Dr. Wily based several of his RMs off of Dr. Light's RMs (Quickman is based off of Elecman for example) so the RMs would be similar to Megaman in how they can remove their clothing and such. For example, Quint is "Megaman from a peaceful future" that was modified by Dr. Wily to fight against Megaman in the present.
There aren't any pictures of Metalman without a helmet, I didnt say there were, sorry for giving you the wrong idea. :c

The border effect is win. Same with the eyes *3* And the hair. The hair is win *runs fingers through it*
His neck looks a little long but otherwise I think it looks great! Awesome design for it.
