Just a little experiment I tried.

I spent oh a good 6 hours or so on the piece and then 45 minutes adding textures, effects, etc.

No ref for pose that's why it sucks. xD

Made in Paint Tool SAI using a Wacom Intuos3 Tablet. Textures/Text effects in Photoshop

LOL. How long do you suggest? And I spent an hour getting the pose somewhat right. xD And I've heard of people spending 18+ hours on a piece.

.. but those 18 hours are for detailed illustrations and airbrushing techniques !!

well u cud have finished by 3 hours easily assuming you have a pentablet anyways the final output is good and thats what matters
