they let you bring electronic devices into there? When I went to a psych ward I couldn't have any electronic devices in there >.<

No. Out of all of the hospitals I've been in, only one ever allowed electronic devices, and they had to be locked in a safe unless you requested and had permission from a psychiatric registrar to use them for a brief period.

I think valium is an anti-anxiety drug. It's supposed to calm you down.
