This is a fairly old photo of our Welsh Cob stallion, Akheilos - from his 3rd birthday exactly.
The girls did a wonderful job making him as shiny and clean as he could ever possibly be for his special birthday - for he had finally become old enough to begin training. Indeed I don't think I've seen him look as good as he did here, since that day, but it turned out to be an unfortunate day for such an attempt, for as soon as we turned him out, the storm clouds rolled in, the sun found it's hiding place, and the rain came to spite my girl's hard efforts.
