"Demyx? Is that you?"

"Heh, yeah. It is." I answered him in a hushed voice. As if everyone around could hear me.

"Wh-what are you doing, calling me at three in the morning?" He asked. I could hear him shift and grunt. Probably sitting up in his bed.

I took a second to imagine him again. His perfect torso naked and bare, nipples hardening from the cold air. The same old blue-wave boxers he wore almost every night to bed. And his hair, messed up and possibly a bit damp.

"Dem?"

"Nothing. I'm just…." What am I doing? Let's see… Zexion, pay-phone, street, cold… "I had to get out of there. I need to see you. I'm going crazy, Zexy. Hands-down."

He sighed. A gesture of disbelief or annoyance or, the most likely, knowing the fact that now he has to get up. "Okay, I'll be there in ten minutes; where are you?"

"Um…" I looked around before answering. "Gilmore Street."

"Okay. Make that twenty minutes."

He hung up the line. I put the phone back in it's place. Pulling my hood up, I sat down on the curb and waited. It would be a while until Zexion got here.

My eyes were wide awake with excitement. I hadn't seen Zexion in months. Ever since Ms. Step-Mom came around and began preaching to us, force-feeding her religion down my father's throat and out casting me from my own family. Of course, Dad had to go along with it. Just for some small piece of ass.

My eyes watered some at the thought of it. But not much, because soon I saw the headlights of Zexion's 2010 TSX Acura pulling close and slowing to a halt. I opened the door and got in, staring at Zexion before getting comfy. On instinct, I reached across the car and pulled him into a kiss. He accepted graciously.

He smiled and stopped me from furthering the moment. "Let's get you somewhere warm."

Zexion took us to his house. Where else would be better?

We made hot chocolate and went to his room for privacy. After I explained what the BitchWoman had done this time, which involved a bible and a fork and my picture of Zex and me at the Carnival, he let me lie down and sleep in his too-big for either of us bed.

When I awoke, Zexion was running his fingers through my hair, which probably looked like a muffin top now. I smiled at him, planting a soft kiss on his shoulder.

"I missed you."

"I missed you too, Dem." He whispered. I almost had to strain to hear what he said next. "Please don't go back…"
