My hero as well.<3 Sophmore year, we had a biography project and we could do ANYONE as long as they were American and had a biography written about them. Guess who I chose?<3 And it was actually going on right around the time the movie came out.xD So I had the perfect excuse to see the movie.

But yes, Harvey Milk was an amazing man.♥ R.I.P Harvey.

Yeah, I saw a documentary about him about a year before the film came out, getting me into activism.

He really got me into activism too but it's kind of hard when you live in a small town where you're the only lgbt person within a 30 year span of the population ;_;

I keep asking for it for my birthday or christmas or something but my parents refuse to get it for me ._. But I intend to buy it when I get paid Friday

Haha my parents refused to get it for me too. Then, I was on holiday in France last week and it was on sale for ten euros, and you BET I bought it as fast as I could. I never told them but I'm pretty sure mother has ogled it since, haha.

Oh my god... When I actually went to go see that movie, I can legitimately say I choked up and even cried. The awesome thing is that the mayor of Denver was in the same theater as my step dad and I were. How many people can say that? Harvey Milk was an amazing man who did amazing things.

Lol Dude it was crazy. My step dad has actually worked along side the mayor and when he saw him he tugged on my sleeve and pointed him out. It was really freaking touching!

I saw the movie and cried at the ending, even though I knew what was coming. It was such a good movie! And of course I can't help but admire the person on whom it was based. I wish to be that sort of person one day. Maybe not in politics, but an activist nonetheless. I so admire that sort of person it can't even be described in words.

yeah my aunt has a girlfriend and i love her its not like i can just hate her for that reason and i wont i love my aunt to death and i wont hate my mom best friend doug because i have no reason too corect
