Description

When a forest is born, so is its guardian. Each individual a creation unlike the other, displaying features and expressions both of serene grace and ferocity. Calm they are, but when their forest is under threat, and those within it, they will take action and have no option but to revert to predatory instinct. Once in multitudes, until the arrival of mankind, these creatures were revered as deities and protected, but now they have become rare and objects for sport. They reproduce with help of none other than themselves, and do so every 500 years, hence their rarity. Their appearance often depends on the type of forest they are raised within.
With the steady decline in forest numbers, these guardians are dying out, and once their forest, given to them through ancestry, is taken, so are their lives. Their soul resides in the trees and lands about their home, and they cannot survive without them.

Description and Characteristics: Adahy is mainly a carefree, gentle giant, although if annoyed and threatened, Adahy can turn easily, and show a more 'aggressive' side.
Adahy lives within a mossy coniferous forest, and likes to rest upon sunlit boulders, giving Ada a serene grace when sunlight strikes upon the guardians hide, seeming like a painted statue. The guardian also enjoys bathing in pools of spring water, which helps to relax Adahy's muscles after patrolling the forests domain.

Adahy has six legs, meaning that the guardian is quite the speedy creature, allowing Adahy to hunt quicker paced creatures swiftly. It also helps Ada when scaling trees to find prey or material, as Adahy can grip the tree with four of the limbs, whilst using the forelegs to grasp onto a target or wanted object. Giving life is one thing that the guardian is given a duty to do, and Adahy tends to find the extra limbs helpful when digging to plant new trees and shrubs, or creating creatures from material that Ada collects.

The guardian has a vibrant coloured mouth which can be used to startle predators, should there be any, by opening Adahy's jaws wide and exposing it, closing them, and then repeating. Adahy also can flatten or raise the feathers along the head, neck, rear and tail to display body language and mood; the flatter the feathers the more calm and relaxed Adahy is.

The horns on Adahy's forehead is used in fights (along with the teeth and claws), but they are rare and very few, and so mainly are used to threaten those whom Adahy thinks may cause trouble, or to break up fights.

Interests: Planting trees, Bathing in pools of sunlight, Walking in springs and rivers, climbing up trees, watching sunsets and rises, talking with birds [they bring news from afar] and exploring. Starry nights Adahy adores, and will often find a high, clear space to watch and map the constellations, stars and planets.

Fears and dislikes: Mankind, pollution, death, stormy nights, fire.

FINALLY. Finally I got my babies ref redone, and boy has Adahy had a make-over. I loved the original design already, but I wanted to change the markings on the body and such. Precious baby ;u;
I originally got this babu from Fluffysminion and was a caribou dragon, which I shall stick with but thought I'd make a proper back story type thing for them.
I'll probably add more to this, I'm just glad I finally got this finished!
