Template: [link]I seen cases where people liked something and they see some crack crap on it and then their fandom is killed.
Me I am different. Don't tell me I don't understand cause I
Narnia to peaces and then I saw Epic Movie. Pretty damn bad Narnia parody and it was scarring IMO but I still love Narnia. That movie was my top fav and I am not about to let some cheap crack BS ruin it for me. And don't bring up the fact that people kept making it over and over and that is why people can't stand the fandom now D: If you really loved it then it shouldn't get in between you and what you once enjoyed.
But at last this is MY opinion on this subject. If you disagree than that is fine. This is for me and the people who agree.
Bad Parodies? Aweful fandom crap? Too much Yaio/yuri art of the fandom that just makes no since and is silly? I am not gonna let any of these kill what I enjoy. IMO it's just stupid..... really, but that is just me D:
Please don't flame cause that would be immature.

Well said ineed. Why do people let things like yaoi, shounen ai or yuri and shoujo ai ruin what they love? I don't like yuri but that doesn't stop me from enjoying my favorite thing if I see a girlxgirl canon character couple. Big deal I get over it, don't whine about it and move on with my life looking for things I actually enjoy

I totally agree with everything you said. Especially about Narnia and Epic Movie, which sucked epically.
You know, for some reason, a lot of my friends enjoyed Epic Movie more than Narnia. It's unbelievable.

I admit I don't participate in fandoms because I see too much stuff I don't like, but I'm in the same boat in you in this though. I'm still going to love my favourite games, movies, shows and whatnot regardless

I love parodies, what I hate is people without a sense of humor who hate parodies and crap about it for nothing. Gawd, Parodies are for fun, no matter if they like it or not!
And parodies are always awesome...even if they're not always very good

It's not the yaoi that kills fandoms...it's the idiot fanbrats that shove it in everyone faces, saying it's canon and making people feel idiotic if they don't support it that kills fandoms.

I just went through 20 pages of KH stuff and beleive it or not I did not see it everywhere. I seen some yes, but gawd so very little. More good tradional art that is not canon, org roxas and Axel, or Yaoi, than anything in there.
The worst I saw not including the Yaoi(which was not many believe it or not, which surprised me) was a pregnant Riku with breasts, Barret in Sora's outfit, a KHfied Spongebob(seen alot of characters from differnt shows and games that were KHfied and they look kick arse), and some of the KH character wearing Sailor Moon outfits.
I can understand it being jam packed with loads of Org XIII stuff and scarring canons when KH 2 was the HUGE phase back the, but I have not seen many when I searched.
And I can understand disliking KH2 but not liking the first one still boggles me.

Back in the good old days of Gaia is where my love for it was killed. In the constant threads about KH and all the drooling idiots that supported the freaking pairings and shoving it around, blah blah blah. Don't try looking for those either 'cause I'm certain threads are purged after so long.
And I never said I didn't like the first game. The first game was fine. Heck, I like the second game too, but the fans absolutely killed it for me.
So there's really absolutely no reason for you to go out of your way to try to prove me wrong. I've made up my mind, I made up my mind over a year ago, there's no use trying to sway me. I don't care if people like it, not at all. Just don't try to sway me back to being a fan.

Wasn't really informed on where you saw this and I wouldn't bother going back to gaia trying to look for them anyhows. Gaia works to slow, I'm too lazy and I could care less about the threads in Gaia.
It wasn't very clear to me that you thougt the first game was fine either.
If you dislike it fine, but disliking it cause of fanbrats is what I don't get, but people react differently to stuff I suppose, but if you dislike something cause of fanbrats than I can't change that apparently so whatever. Me I just ignored though I couldn't care enough about it to seek out threads on it and talk to people about it or let it bother me.
Let's not fight over this any longer. It's stupid.

Dude...you've known me for the past four years. I liked KH when I first met you. You're acting like I know nothing about the game and am claiming to hate it...and apparently you were able to overcome your laziness to search 20 freaking pages here on DA.

I didn't say you knew nothing of the games. Nothing like that came out of my mouth. If I made it sound like it did then I apologize. And DA works ALOT faster than Gaia. I knew you like KH at first but I thought you didn't like it later on cause of all the fanbrats.
And I can accept that people react differently and of different opinions than me, but sometimes I just don't agree or understand them.
